Weight has been a controversial issue among figure-conscious individuals. This is the basis if you are within or out of the line; a single variation in normal weight would mean that your body is near to an unfitted appearance. But behind all of these issues, have you ever wondered what makes you fat? There are a lot factors to be considered, and the following are some of the common culprits among overweight and obese people:

  • Sedentary lifestyle. Technology has made the human life easier than during the early times, but it has produced a generation of individuals enjoying sedentary lifestyle. This is not ideal as experts recommend at least 30 minutes of exercise everyday. It is important in enhancing body system functions inside the body and aids in burning of excess fat.
  • Wrong eating habits. This is what makes you fat as everyday meals should be a well-balanced diet. This is very hard to follow as there are lots of temptations around, including the fast-food chains, restaurants and bakeshops existing in every corner.
  • Faulty metabolism rate. This is very hard to change; the problem lies within your body. Slow metabolism rate, the common cause of weight gain, happens when an individual maintained an incorrect weight loss diet. A lot of people believed that starving themselves will make them lose weight rapidly, but this only worsens the problem. Excessive starvation makes the metabolism rate slow and at the time that you have decided to be back on your normal diet, your body’s metabolism rate will not instantly adjust to the sudden change.
